The Eberlys discuss the arrival of his family in Iowa; tales about Indians and a nearby community called Whiskey Creek; dairying; the milk strike; his relatives' life in a cave before the farmhouse was built; basketball; music and Lawrence Welk's band; dances; land inheritance; land values; preventing soil erosion; their wedding and shivaree; Christmas celebrations; and her family's German heritage. Included with the transcript is a newspaper article describing the Eberly Cemetery.
